Water Damage – Chicago School

Water damage at this Chicago grade school was caused by a significant water line break. The before picture shows the pooled water on the floor of the classroom. This incident happened and was discovered over a long weekend, and the school officials were anxious to get the water cleaned up and the plumbing problem fixed before school resumed on Tuesday. SERVPRO was selected to perform the work due to our reputation and the amount of equipment and personnel we could commit immediately to the project. We were able to extract the standing water with trailer mounted water extractors quickly. We then placed commercial air moving equipment and dehumidifiers to aid the drying process.
