Commercial Water Damage – Chicago Gym

Commercial water damage at this Chicago gym’s locker room was the result of a water supply line rupturing during the night. By morning, when the problem was discovered, there was a great deal of fresh water on the locker room floor. SERVPRO of West Loop / Bucktown / Greektown was called in to clean up the water. We employed high powered pumps and wet-vacs to extract the standing water. The flooring was not damaged, and our instruments indicated there was no moisture hiding in the subfloor. However, to prevent any damage to the walls and ceiling, we positioned industrial air movers and dehumidifiers to dry the surfaces and air in the room.
