Chicago Fire Burnt Room

The pump on this beautiful salt water aquarium shorted out and ignited the wall. This Chicago home had beautiful hardwood floors that were covered with old carpeting. The homeowner decided to take the opportunity to have the fire damaged wall and window sill restored and to remove the fibrous floor covering. Our SERVPRO technicians demoed the charred areas, wrapped them up, and discarded them according to local codes. The walls were treated with an antimicrobial product before closing them up to complete the fire damage restoration service, almost. The burnt marks on the hardwood floor were sanded out, and the floor refinished much to the delight of our customer. Count on us for great service.
